How to Grow Broccoli Microgreens at Home (Step-by-Step Guide)
Simple step-by-step guide for strong, healthy growth
-
ðą Seeds: 15g
-
ðĶ Tray: 30×21 cm
-
ðŠī Medium: Soil or Coir
-
ðĄïļ Temp: 25-27°C
Step 1 – Prepare Tray. White tray inside green tray. Add 2–3 cm soil. Spread evenly
â
Step 2 – Add Seeds. Spread evenly. No clumping. Light mist. Push seeds gently with
hands into soil
âStep 3 – Stack & Weight. Cover with a green tray or something else. Add weight(brick or
paver)
âStep 4 – Let germinate a day or two. Spray twice daily. When not evenly germinated let
germinate a day longer
âStep 5 – Place trays after two days in complete darkness (Black out). Still spray twice
daily. Lift the white tray and look for roots. If they start appearing spray them
too. They can't dry out.
Step 6 – When the seeds are lifting up the green tray with the weight, it is time to
flip the green tray over (so now you have created a little dome). When the little
plants are touching the top of the dome it is time to let them see the light!
Step 7 - Place the trays into the light. Not direct sunlight. They will burn or wilt. From now
on you only water from below. Start with half a cup of filtered water. Check water
twice a day.
Step 8 - Harvest when the little plants are between 7 or 10cm high
Enjoy!
